Dan Brown - The Da Vinci Code
I borrowed this book from my mother in law because I have heard so much about it and it sounded like something I would enjoy and for the most part, I did. There were points that I felt dragged, but there were also some good plot twists.
One point about the book I didn't like was the authors insistance on going into too much detail about certain places and references in the book, almost as if he felt that he needed to prove to the reader that he had done his research on the locations mentioned in the book, but that is a small gripe...

At 3.99 on Amazon, you can't go far wrong with this book. I do think that it has been hyped up too much by popular culture, but this kept me entertained on the train for a week and a bit. I won't go as far to say I can't wait for the film to come out, but I would be happy to go and see it one weekend!
