The Dark Tower: Wizard and Glass - Stephen King

This is the 4th book in a series of seven books from Stephen King. I have a boxed set with the first four books, so this is the last book I have at the moment in this series.

I find Stephen King to be a difficult writer to judge. Sometimes you read one of his books or see a film based on his books and it is just awful, sometimes you just can't put it down. This feeling runs through the Dark Tower series and I have found that even from chapter to chapter he can write amazingly well and criminally bad. However, for the most part, this book has been the good stuff!

The story picks up with Roland of Gilead and tells more of his back story. This book has been good fun so far, I am definately going to read the other 3 books to see how the story ends and I want desparately to know what happens when Roland reaches the tower!

How very relevant to my book post, I am glad to hear that the timber industry is doing well, all the more for books.
