Sadness

As we are approaching our holiday we have had some very bad news.
The father of my sister-in-law died on tuesday.
He went to see the docter early august, was diagnosed with cancer and it all went very quickly.
They are a very close family so my brother and sister-in-law, her mother, her sister and many many other family members are all very upset and will miss him terribly.
We are going to the funeral tomorrow (actually driving down this evening) in the hope our being there will be of some comfort.
