Emperor: The Gates of Rome
With Miki starting a new job and taking the car, I am now taking the train to work everyday and it has been a great opportunity to do some reading.
I'm currently reading Emperor: The Gates of Rome. It follows the rise of Julius Caesar and I've been thoroughly enjoying it so far. The author has brought the characters to life wonderfully and I would love to see this book made into a film. I might even finish it by the end of the week is unusual for me as I am generally quite a slow reader!

I'm enjoying this book so much that I've added the next two novels to my amazon wishlist...
Well, finished this book on the train on Tuesday, thoroughly enjoyed it, I will be getting the two other novels in the series, The Death of Kings is the next one and the third novel hasn't been published yet so I will have to wait!
